Wik & The Fable Of Souls review:
At 800 Microsoft points, it's a bit more expensive than the likes of Geometry Wars and some of Xbox Live Arcade's recent remakes, but it's on a par with Cloning Clyde and Street Fighter II, and in terms of absorbing gameplay, it's right up there too - even if, to begin with, it's a bit like trying to light a match in the wind.
Wik & The Fable Of Souls review:
As I’ve previously stated in reviews of other 360 Live Arcade titles, the ability to download new content, specifically games, is what keeps gamers coming back to the system during dry spells of available titles in the store. Back in December, one of the driest periods for the system, Reflexive Entertainment released a new Live Arcade offering with Wik: The Fable of Souls. Recently we were able to spend some time with this sticky-tongued swinger and found that, while a wee bit repetitive, it still offers a nice distraction from the action-packed retail titles currently available for the system.
Wik & The Fable Of Souls review:
The main character of this cleverly designed game gets to swing around using his tongue and inhale grubs and other bugs, but it's a whole lot more pleasant than that.
