 The Outfit review:
The Outfit does suffer from the fact it’s one of the first games for the new console, but THQ have done a competent job in bringing a unique World War II game to the system and they have to be commended for at least not going down the path of first person shooter ala COD and Medal of Honor. It’s action all the way with this one and it will provide at least a few hours of fun gameplay.

Even those seasoned RTS gamers may think twice about this game based purely on its awful driving implementation. You may find that the vehicles are not that hard to control and that you love the strategy and action. Also, with such huge and sprawling maps, it becomes necessary to purchase vehicles to traverse the expansive terrain. 4x4s can't take a cannon shot head-on, but they'll get players around quickly. Halftracks are tougher than 4x4s, but they are significantly slower. Tanks, of course, can take the most full-on damage but are very slow.

Also, as the fast-paced nature of gameplay goes, it's easy to lose troops along the way, so it's simple and cheap to order another airlift of backup troops to accompany you into heavy-duty firefights. If there seem to be any drawbacks, it's that it's not easy to assign men to a machine-gun turret RTS-style if the gunner has been killed.
