Halo 3 review:
A campaign that most people seemed to enjoy, a story that makes sense (part-war hero story, part "love" story, part buddy movie) and ties things up nicely (or does it?). If this is the final part of the Halo story then it’s ended on a suitably high note, if not then Halo 4 has a hard act to follow.

Halo 3 review:
The typical sci-fi story isn’t even radically different than something we’ve seen before. But Halo gets all these aspects just right: the right gameplay balance, an absurdly deep multiplayer mode, sharp graphics and sound. It’s the Halo sequel that fans have been demanding. And it’s the game that’s going to sell a lot of Xbox 360s.

Halo 3 review:
Overall, Bungie has crafted another masterpiece that serves as a fitting end to the trilogy (no big cliffhanger here). Of course, not every mystery of the Halo universe is answered, but it does look like the next game is moving in a very interesting direction. Until next time, Chief!

Halo 3 review:
There are few games that have such variety and adventure online as Halo 3, and to provide the framework to be able to go back and look at your past games, for whatever reason, is nothing short of genius.

Halo 3 review:
I personally expected more out of the single player campaign in terms of story and depth, but everything else Bungie has packed into the game makes up for it - in spite of my usual nitpicking. It's a fight worth finishing so if you haven't already, get out there and do just that.-- Jim Cordeira

Halo 3 review:
Halo 3 builds upon the concepts of Halo 2 in ways that you'd expect, but there are also new modes and options that send the series in exciting new directions.
