If the resistance is great, it will take weeks, if not months, to conquer the map in the Neroimus War.Chromehounds wields tons of firepower online, but its gameplay gears are rusty. On this note, I can only recommend this title to people that know that they’ll have reliable friends around them.

In the end, Chromehounds delivers a very solid Mech action that will appeal to gamers who appreciate the Mech Warrior series. It is a slower methodically paced title that demands patience and the ability to command squad units to be successful. It's an intentional compromise that's probably necessary given the standard Xbox controller, but for a lot of players this is going to feel like an uncomfortable middle ground, at least at first. Enthusiastic players and well-organized squads indicate that this ground can be dug, but you'll really need some hands-on time with it to know if Chromehounds is really your kind of game.
