 Blitz The League review:
What Blitz does do a good job of is keeping things fast-paced and relatively simple. Well, as simple as things get in American Football. Madden has a big-name license, countless trademarks and a dozen different modes. Blitz has added swearing and the chance to shatter a man's finger bones into pieces. For a quick-paced stop-gap to the main contender, it's worth a look.

Midway ports the Blitz on the 360, but doesn't feature anything new, apart from visual improvements here and there. Get it only if you didn't already.

This is easily the best of the Blitz titles, and Midway has given fans a truly fun and entertaining football game that is not hindered by rules and penalties. Blitz the League is not going to change anyone's minds that were not fans of the previous versions, but fans of the series should eat this up. Blitz the League is a real winner. -- Brian Peterson
