For example, a few times, the goalkeeper seemed to completely disappear from the box during penalty kicks, only to reappear suddenly. The same happened with the kicker at times. Granted, David Beckham has a lot of skills, but it would take some major magic and bending of light rays and the space-time continuum to make him suddenly pop up out of nowhere on the pitch.

2006 FIFA World Cup preview:
During the game introduction, there's an interestingly edited montage of the starting eleven juxtaposed with quick flashes of on-the-pitch action. It's a cool new way to dramatize the action on the field. Also, the gameplay seems to run at a smooth framerate on the field, which is something that the current-gen is still having trouble with maintaining at this point.
