Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: Average execution, terribly repetitive combat, lots of reasonable ideas that don't quite work, a general lack of cohesion: it's not diabolical, but it's far from great. It has some lovely touches - particularly its soundtrack - but it's really, contrary to my expectations, nothing special. Shame.

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: What could be more satisfying than decapitating people and eating their brains? Stubbs sure knows how to have fun in this B-movie style zombie actioner.

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: Stubbs has the ability to control his zombie army, the control is very limited but you can push them out of the way and use them as shields. You can also whistle to get your armies attention and they will come to you like zombie puppies. The unholy army of the undead can have unto 10 members but there are some problems unfortunately. ...

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: If you beat up a human to the point where they're too stunned to fight back, you can press the Y button to devour their delicious gray matter. Eating a human's brain obviously kills them, and it also refills some of your health meter and special attacks. If you're sneaky, you can also creep up behind a human and execute a brain-munching stealth kill with one tap of the Y button.

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: + Eating people's brains and watching as legions of undead warriors attack them en masse is quite entertaining.+ Stubbs' arsenal is quite varied, allowing you to dispatch foes in several different ways.+ The Halo engine has been used quite well, though I wish there was a bit more background detail and things going on.+ A slick 1950s presentation.

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: Eating the brains of the living to form a massive army of the undead is extremely satisfying, often hilarious, and, unfortunately, almost painfully brief.

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse review: Regardless, Stubbs is one of those rare games that manages to not only be creative and challenge many of the game industry norms, but do so within the confines of an extremely entertaining and polished game. The Xbox game market may be quiet these days, but don't let that mislead you from picking up one of the best games it's seen in quite some time.
