Short, predictable, and buried with survival-horror banality, Obscure also offers innovation at a pleasing price tag, yet is still doomed to fall into... obscurity.

The Xbox version of the game uses Dolby Digital 5.1.Obscure doesn’t attempt to do anything different. Hydravision is comfortable with crafting a respectable survival horror game and Obscure fits that profile well. The addition of co-op add some spice. If you’ve been looking for a new survival horror game, Obscure is worth a play through, especially considering the game is only $20.

Add to ManRoom?For a first stab Dreamcatcher’s Obscure is a hell of an effort that given years of refinement Resident Evil has been privy to could evolve into a premiere action horror title. Is it a rip-off of past horror games? Absolutely, but retailing for under $20 bucks it will offer up more than an hour and a half of scares most equally priced campy horror DVDs will.
