I enjoyed it, but unless you are a big fan of mech games, this is going to be a rental for you. Mech fans will probably love the changes and fully enjoy conquest mode. The rest of you can carry on with business as usual.
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf review:
However kitted out with Xbox Live simply nothing touches the online fun that can be gleamed from MechAssault 2. MechAssault 2 does what every sequel should do; it expands on the gameplay of the original and adds essential improvement upon it at the same time.
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf review:
Even offline there's plenty to do with a Grinder co-op mode included giving an opportunity to duke it out against respawning foes.
