King Kong review:
I will say that the alternate ending is well worth unlocking, but even that isn’t enough to satisfy my urge for a really compelling conclusion. Still, despite its brevity and the somewhat shoddy ending, there are many moments in this game that I will remember for a lifetime, and I commend the developers for creating an amazing experience. I just wish there were more of it.

In the end, Kong is a game worth purchasing if you liked the film or if you are an action adventure fan in general. The game captures the magic of Jackson's film (and steps a little beyond it), looks great and gives you a gameplay ride that is lots of fun. If you can't buy it, at least give it a rental. It's a game worth experiencing.

It's not bad by any means, just a bit basic and, well, normal.Ultimately, the game's slight undoing is its own high standards. It's never less than good, but when most aspects meld together into one marvellous cohesive adventure, the few moments of normality bring us back to earth with a bump.
