GUN review:
Gun sets you loose in the Wild West, where you can shoot your way through a very brief but entertaining storyline and undertake some decent side missions while you're at it.

GUN review:
Creating a new game that is worth playing is always a challenge for any developer. Neversoft was up to the challenge and in the end graced us with a thrilling adventure where you can pretend to be the good, the bad or the ugly. - Didi Cardoso, Grrlgamer.com

GUN review:
Neversoft has shown that it knows how to craft good gameplay through its Tony Hawk series. But with Gun, the developer also drew on its experience while also focusing in on the details that make a game stand out and grab people in order to create an adventure that is worth playing.

GUN review:
Calling this shooter a GTA in a Wild West setting would not do it justice, as it serves up a thrilling experience with an engaging story and solid combat.

GUN review:
With that said, Neversoft’s first journey out of the world of skateboarding is a welcome one. Featuring fast paced action, a great story, and tight controls, Gun shouldn’t be missed. But due to its length, rent it first. Author: Jake Valentine   aka: Traxis

GUN review:
GUN really is a game that had no hype behind it until the last few months and perhaps that’s how it should always be. Neversoft have shaken off the shackles of the skateboarding genre and while they will continue to produce those, it is clear that they are a developer with a bright future, especially if GUN is anything to go by.

GUN review:
Set in the untamed West of the late 1800s, GUN is a free-roaming action-adventure game that takes players to a world without laws where greed, lust and murder are rampant. As Colton White, a vengeful gunslinger, players must straddle the line between good and evil as they showdown against corrupt lawmen, a murderous preacher, renegade army psychopaths, merciless outlaws and unforgiving Native Americans, while waging war on horseback, collecting bounties, and commandeering trains.

GUN review:
+ Combat controls are a breeze, and riding a horse has never felt this good.+ Several classic Western scenarios show up. Nothing beats a great horse chase!+ The music is terrific, and the use of numerous familiar actors for the voicework delivers some gusto.+/- There are some slight graphic issues here and there, but the general build of the game is beautiful and the character design is uncanny.

And when you wrap up all those elements with a film-worthy cast of actors and soundtrack, you easily have one of the best genre titles of the holiday season and a must-own game for action and western lovers alike.

GUN review:
It's one of those games where you've pretty much seen most of what it has to offer within the first couple of hours. You'll enjoy the gunplay, you'll probably be numbed by the slo-mo gunplay repetition, and then see it through anyway because it's all quite undemanding fun with a decent story. On horseback. Just don't expect Gun to change the world. It really is just True Crime in the Wild West...

GUN review:
Thankfully, Gun features a substantial range of side-missions, including the ability to work at a cattle ranch, protect the denizens of the towns as a deputy, or help the local Indians hunt for specific animals like the Great White Buffalo. In a nice touch, failing a mission will simply force you to restart from the last checkpoint, rather than having to backtrack to redo it.
