Whilst the glaring faults and missing features just nudge this version out of the “must purchase” category, Pandemic Studios have a real winner on their hands. We only hope that Full Spectrum Warrior 2 and Pandemic Studios makes the changes required to make the next version the classic purchase its brother almost claimed.

Full Spectrum Warrior preview:
Splash damage from grenades blows car doors around and bodies rag-doll against walls as AKs tear away in a separate direction, none of it scripted. Smoke drifting in the wind as cover as you push your teams further against the insurgents sets an atmosphere that will have you grabbing for the controller like a despot for an oil can. Or should that be... never mind.

How does Full Spectrum Warrior compare to Conflict: Desert Storm II? Favourably, but the titles are different enough for me to recommend that if you have the resources, a purchase of both is recommended. Full Spectrum Warrior contains more polish than your average shoe store. Top notch stuff, and for once, I can't think of any way to improve things.
