FIFA 06 review:
FIFA 06 does deserve a purchase but it simply doesn’t offer up anywhere near enough improvements for owners of FIFA 2005 to part with cash this year. That being said, if this is your first purchase, or you have stayed away for a few years this one certainly makes a good refresher course.

This budding empire needs cash to burn, and your flow streams in via a range of sponsorship deals, each with payoffs as large as their expectations. One sponsor might promise a wealth of dough if you win the whole shebang, but if you’re not confident in your team’s noobish level, you could go with another sponsor with more attainable goals and smaller payoffs.

With the Xbox 360 version launching, you would expect EA to just reproduce last year’s version with a few added options, but surprisingly this was not the case. FIFA is a true upgrade to the previous years, and as I mentioned before, is possibly the best version of the series since its inception.-- Brian Peterson
