Fable review:
Instead of blindly taking my word for this one I highly encourage you to rent this. There is no doubt in my mind that it was a fantastic game and no doubt one of my favorites, but there is such a split in the opinions of the game I can't recommend that it is a blanket purchase for everyone. If you will excuse me, I have a few more Heroes to play as.

Fable review:
Fable has been one of the most anticipated games for the Xbox, and the delays on its release have made everyone's expectations higher, hoping for something that would blow us all away. It was good, but it didn't blow me away. - Didi Cardoso

Fable review:
And because of this every single Xbox owner out there owes it to themselves to at least give fable a spin on rental. However, if any one of you has even a slightest interest in RPG gaming then immediately pre-order your copy at once, it really doesn’t get any better than this. It may be a little on the easy side but it's also more than a little "brilliant" as well.

But backing that up with unfulfilling combat and a weak story really took the wind out of the sails. The open-endedness is entertaining at first, but after a few days, the game gets stale and you’ll wish for something with more substance. Here’s hoping Knights of the Old Republic 2 will deliver!

Fable review:
. A limited amount of items is sort of disappointing, but there are plenty of extra goodies to be found by trying to complete everything Fable has to offer. It has a short story but tons of depth and optional goals to keep you busy for a long time. If you're looking for an RPG that plays out in real time with a predictable yet intriguing story, then Fable is definitely for you. -- Brandon Howard

One of the most anticipated games for Xbox fans out there, Fable, introduces the unique idea of the player’s choices between good and evil having lasting consequences. The title sold throughout the world, breaking record after record across all platforms.

Fable review:
Fable’s magic lies in its ability to involve the player in every decision; it’s your choice whether you slaughter the occupants of a house that you want, it’s your choice whether to destroy Twinblade, it’s your choice whether you want to marry and own three homes. Choice can be a wonderful thing, and it’s better to have that choice than not.

Fable review:
The amount of side quests and activities is very impressive, creating plenty of reasons to play through several times. I only really have one problem with Fable – the targeting system. It really is difficult to find any other notable problems with this game. Fable is an excellent RPG that I recommend anyone should give a try.

Fable is just like young love; it promises you the world, only to take it away just as quickly - but ultimately it'll eat into your life, and be a Hell of a lot of fun while it's at it.

Since it was first introduced as Project Ego several years ago, Fable has been under a deafening amount of hype. It was clear that this was being designed to be the premier RPG for Xbox.

Fable review:
"One of my earliest memories was my father telling me that he'd give me a single piece of gold for every good deed I did in our tiny village of Oakdale. The options seemed so boundless, and besides, I needed the gold to buy my sister a birthday present. I found myself helping people to recover lost dolls, guarding crates of valuables - I even caught one of the married village men with a lady from the tavern. I told him I wouldn't tell his wife about it and took his little gold bribe, but I told her anyway, and father gave me enough to buy my sister a gift. Yes, I was a little tear-away, but as it turned out, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Fable review:
In Fable, the players' every action determines their character's skills, appearances and moralities. Character's life stories are created from childhood through adulthood and on to old age. They can grow from an inexperienced child into the most powerful being in the world, spoken of by all and immortalized in legend.
