Evil Dead: Regeneration review: It drips the same absurd humor and atmosphere that have made the movies cult classics and is the best opportunity to don the guise of Ash a.k.a. Bruce Campbell. The pure adventure gamer may soon tire from narrowly focused gameplay but anyone with a morbid sense of humor will have a fiendishly good time!

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: Picking up where the cult horror movie left off, this budget title tries to thrill us with new ideas, but even with Bruce "Ash" Campbell lending a hand, it stays a budget title.

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: You can pretty much complete it 100% over the course of two days and I enjoyed myself blasting and sawing deadites into pieces. If you’re a real fan of the Evil Dead mythos I’d suggest you just go ahead and buy it. At $20, it’s just the cost of three rentals and the extras with Bruce and Ted are hilarious.

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: Evil Dead Regenerations is all in all a fun and funny game to play, definitely the best Evil Dead game to date, and even with the very apparent bugs and rather short game play time, there is only one word to describe this game. Groovy.
Gaming Age reviews
Evil Dead: Regeneration review: This is a game for Evil Dead fans without a doubt. For the price, it’s a marked improvement over the previous games. In this, I think the developers have achieved success. They have created a game that should be received well by Evil Dead fans, and that is ultimately what I think they were shooting for. -- Nik Dunn

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: Now is not to say that this is one of the best that I’ve played, or even one of the better of the hack and slash genre, but it does do what it does well, and that is worth some adequate amount of praise, given its leaps and bounds over its predecessors. Gameplay The game starts with a brief recount of what happened in the Evil Dead series
Xtreme Xbox reviews
Evil Dead: Regeneration review: Whether grappling with enemies or riding huge beasts, Regeneration provides lots of opportunities for unconventional experiences. Regeneration may not be Game of the Year material, but it's a best take yet on a classic franchise. And for just 20 bucks, this is definitely must-buy material for Evil Dead fans. It'll swallow your soul!

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: On the other hand, any fan of the movies owes it to themselves to get a decent Evil Dead game; at $19.99 the price is right. Especially when you take into consideration that this could be the last Bruce Campbell adaptation of Ash with the impending Evil Dead remake coming out next year with Ashton Kutcher. Yeah, that will be fun.

Evil Dead: Regeneration review: But sadly, the first two Evil Dead games have not fared remotely as well as the flicks, mixing some ill-guided humor with even worse control schemes, graphics, and gameplay. You can imagine my trepidation, then, going into yet another Evil Dead action romp.
