Blitz The League review:
The celebrated arcade-style football franchise is back and better than ever with a new treatment of America's most popular sport. Blitz: The League exposes the harsh and troubling, behind-the-scenes stories of a fictional professional football league.

Blitz The League review:
Serious football players probably won’t enjoy this game aside from its humorous elements, but anyone with a sense of humor and a proclivity towards extreme violence and severe bodily injury will have the time of their life.

Blitz The League review:
I also like the kicking icons, and using the Clash meter for dirty hits is pretty addictive. The gameplay needs some tuning, but if you’ve got a mind to crush some skulls on and off the field, than I think you’re gonna be pretty happy with this title.

Blitz The League review:
While I can understand the idea behind using painkillers and the like to get a player back into the action faster, sometimes they seem to work a little too well. When given a choice between having a player out with a fractured wrist for three quarters, or doping him up and getting him back into the fray in two plays, the game's sense of realism seems to go out the door.

Blitz The League review:
Luckily for us gamers, this is where one of sport gaming's greatest and most storied franchises came back into the fold: NFL Blitz. Of course, with the lack of a license they had to drop the NFL part, so now we're left with Blitz: The League. And what a league it is!Midway is back, folks, and Blitz is as good as ever. With the lack of competition, gamers were afraid EA Sports

Blitz The League review:
+ The Campaign Mode lets you build your way up to a championship either by good intentions or dirty tactics. It's stirring and surprisingly deep.+ Graphics look terrific, especially when you zoom in on the actual damage to someone during a hit in Clash Mode. Bone-breaker!+ Multiplayer opportunities galore via Xbox Live. You can even take your custom team online to get the better of people.
