War has always been a great source of ideas for gaming. You can wipe out thousands of Nazis in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, eliminate Iraqis in Conflict Desert Storm, and wipe out aliens in Halo. However, when it comes to historical accuracy and the finer details, most games prefer to wash over the facts with yet another spectacular explosion.
