Aeon Flux review:
As it is, there’s been no excuse to mention one bouncing off the others chin. When Aeon Flux isn’t busy being average, it’s tied up in its own gibberish, or nudging you towards your next confrontation with awkward controls. It has almost none of the excitement we play video games for and as such, is time lost and tears in the eyes of anyone foolish enough to waste their money.
Aeon Flux review:
Aeon Flux is an action-packed game that features a palpitating blend of stealth, speed and acrobatic combat. Based on Peter Chung’s popular MTV animated series, the game bridges the fever-dream essence of the futuristic series with the mass-market appeal of the feature film starring Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron.
Aeon Flux review:
But Aeon Flux manages to transcend its problems with clever platforming and some interesting level designs. It’s barely above average for an action game, but captures enough of the spirit of the show (and movie) to make it worthwhile for fans.
Aeon Flux review:
The game might have inherited the movie's convoluted mess, but it is a somewhat decent adventure title, albeit marred by a frustrating control.
Aeon Flux review:
+ Interesting mix of some awesome platforming tactics and ball-rolling segments that add a unique challenge to the game.+/- Better-than-usual structure for a movie-licensed game, but the story sequences jump around to the point of confusion.+/- The game looks pretty good, but runs into problems with framerate and camera aplenty.
Aeon Flux review:
Aeon Flux is heavy on style and light on coherency, but there's enough enjoyable action to keep things from flying apart at the seams.
