Movement is a bit erratic though, making fights less planned affairs than they might have been.There is one reasonably impressive aspect, however, and that's the audio. In cut-scenes particularly speech is crystal clear and generally well-acted - in fact the cut-scenes are quite nice all round - and the music is quite pleasing.

I can't fully recommend MediEvil Resurrection because of its control issues and the fact that games have evolved past this aged template. However, fans and those looking for a different kind of platformer for the system will have some fun with it. It's a sluggish game, but its brief moments of brilliant designs make it worth a look.

In fact, a lot of Dan's more advanced moves merely look like variations of his more basic moves, which I've found to be just as effective. In addition, Dan can also take advantage of a variety of weapons (20 in total) ranging from wooden swords, crossbows, and clubs.
