Armored Core Formula Front review:
Certainly the decision to favour strategy over blasting makes for an intriguing diversion to start with, but the reams of statistics mask a disappointingly simplistic game. All told, it's hardly a riveting challenge and you'll have seen most of what the game has to offer in a weekend. Fellow mechphiles shouldn't feel too deflated though - a PSP version of Carnage Heart is in the pipeline...
Armored Core Formula Front review:
The mech sim retains much of its gameplay mechanics and addictiveness for its jump to the PSP, but still only for those hardcore fans.

+ Looks fantastic, with plenty of hulking robot action.+ Provides a great deal of customization, with tons of parts to try out and symbol creation.+ Fun in multiplayer.+/- The inclusion of two types of controls is a nice touch, but the game still feels a bit too hard for newbies to just step into, even with AI assistance.
Armored Core Formula Front review:
Simulation fans will enjoy Formula Front's extremely in-depth mech-customization system, but the steep learning curve and lack of any real action will probably turn off everyone else.

Armored Core Formula Front review:
The sheer level of depth and customization in this game is staggering, to say the least. The game basically gives you the power to customize just about every aspect of the game, from the AC mechs that you create, to the AI control of the game's battle system. You must first choose a mech to customize. Everything from the individual parts of the AC mech's body, to the color of paint is almost infinitely customizable. You can switch out different body parts, add different types of firepower, all of which have different power and weight characteristics, and even tweak the AI system to determine exactly how you want your AC to behave in combat.

According to our sources inside Agetec, the TV style presentation from the Japanese version of the game will still be retained in the form of post-battle replays. Players will be able to view the battle from multiple angles and the replay camera will automatically zoom-in or slow-down the action during particularly dramatic scenes.

The graphics are beautiful (check out the PSX Extreme screens), but again, this isn't a game and it's certainly not worth 5800 yen.Sorry for the bad news.Ridge Racers is great though. I'm sure Aaron or Arnold or Frank will tell you about that later. My English isn't good enough to rightly describe everything about it.
