Virtua Fighter 5 review:
With Tekken pretty much takes the crown for the fighting genre, Sega has other ideas for their beloved franchise, delivering the best experience, bar none, for the next-gen console.

Virtua Fighter 5 review:
VF5 sets out to create the world's best beat 'em up for beat 'em up aficionados, and it succeeds. It deserves all the plaudits it gets; we just think that you should consider carefully whether you count yourself as a beat 'em up aficionado before deciding to pick up a copy.

Virtua Fighter 5 review:
The voice acting in the game is okay though somewhat repetitive and less crisp than we would have liked. The sound effects when fighting are pretty good if standard.Series veterans will be glad to know that Virtua Fighter 5 doesn’t disappoint. It’s still quite tough on beginners, though, if you’re willing to give it a chance this is PS3’s first (time limited) exclusive third-party killer app.

Virtua Fighter 5 review:
Fighting enthusiasts will love the new characters and moves, along with the finely balanced Vs. play. Newbies to the series or genre, will appreciate the eye-pleasing high-def visuals at first and then most likely be sucked in by the deep gameplay and the enjoyable Quest Mode. Either way, it's an obvious purchase for the new PlayStation 3 owner.-- Jim Cordeira

Virtua Fighter 5 review:
In a move that is sure to please fighting game die-hards, Virtua Fighter 5 hits the PS3 in February in all its high definition glory. With a number of new fighters, a redesigned single-player campaign, and a bundle of customization options, this may well be the fighter that you've been looking for.

Virtua Fighter 5 review:
Customizing your characters is fun, playing against your friends is a blast, and the Quest mode will most certainly pass a lot of hours if you enjoy the Virtua Fighter franchise. While I would love to give this a higher score, its lack of online play and dearth of innovation hurts its entertainment value. Fans will enjoy it, but there isn’t much else here.
