Game Chronicles reviews
Call Of Duty 3 review: There were moments when I would catch myself physically ducking or leaning my body as I tried to look around a corner. I started to appreciate the men in my unit and a sense of loss when somebody was lost. Signing up and going off to war might not be for everybody, but playing this game will certainly make you respect those who did and those who still do.

Call Of Duty 3 review: While smacking Nazis in the face with the butt of your rifle by aggressively rotating the controller can be satisfying, overall these controls don’t make or break the gameplay. If you own both an Xbox 360 and a PS3, choosing which version of this accomplished WWII shooter to buy comes down to how much you like or dislike the motion-sensing elements.

Call Of Duty 3 review: Although the singleplayer campaign only lasts for 8 hours or so, this is a game that you will probably want to replay in the different difficulty setting and play for countless hours online. The PS3 version of the game is just as impressive as the Xbox 360 version and while it doesn’t have split-screen multiplayer, it makes up for this with the Sixaxis functionality.

Call Of Duty 3 preview: Call of Duty 3 delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the battle for the Liberation of Paris, the most harrowing campaign of WWII, known as The Normandy Breakout. Earlier this week Activision gave us a chance to try out the next-gen CoD3, and also tossed all new screens & a trailer our way ...

Call Of Duty 3 preview: It's this kind of open battle -- sending players scrambling from cover to cover, trying to make their way forward -- that we love the most about the series, and it doesn't look like Treyarch will be deviating from that formula.

Call Of Duty 3 preview: As was the case with the previous games, your best bet is to use the iron sights to aim more precisely, and we noticed a cool depth-of-field effect that slightly blurred the screen when you raised the rifle to your eye. It's a neat little effect, especially when you consider that even a wasted millisecond can mean the difference between life and death.
