X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
Large, chaotic battles against the backdrop of a convoluted, and yet ultimately painfully underdeveloped story. Perfect for fans of the comic, not so much for the rest of us.

X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
The sequel to the surprisingly good actioner does well here, as the chance to play as the bad guys and enhanced AI keeps it entertaining throughout.

X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
The story begins with the X-Men and their arch-enemies, the Brotherhood, teaming up to foil the plans of Apocalypse, Marvel’s number one baddie. Apocalypse has devised a plan to use the mutant powers of four X-Men to make himself even more sinister. Your team of X-Men and Brotherhood characters chase him and his minions around the world, finally serving him a hot slice of humble pie.

X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
Though X-Men Legends II: The Rise of the Apocalypse is just your basic dungeon crawler following an action/RPG formula where you control a team of characters, it's thoroughly drenched in that exquisite anti-hero lore that is X-Men.

X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
In addition to the lengthy single-player mode, the cooperative mode adds many hours to the game. This isn’t even mentioning that the single-player mode has a high replay value since you can easily go through to the game with another set and enjoy yourself. Overall, X-Men Legends II is definitely recommended.-- Edited by Jose Liz

It's bigger, badder, and online. But is it worth your while one year later?

X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review:
For the most part, you don't actually need to use these skills to beat the game--but they make it a lot quicker and easier to deal with hordes of enemies. And some of the boss fights in this game are truly epic; they just wouldn’t be as entertaining without an all-out clash of mutant powers. Page 2 of 2 »
