The character/costume combinations boost its replay value immensely, as does the promise of new maps and outfits for download. I enjoyed the first game, and it looks like I'm going to have something new to play on Xbox Live pretty soon (sorry OutRun 2; it was good while it lasted). X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse preview:
Be rest assured that if any comic book, including these characters, has a story to keep you on the edge, then this game will most definitely leave you dangling in the air. If you have not played the original, I recommend picking it up now. This will tide you over, and give you a feel of what will come when XL2:ROA is released this fall.

As for the roster, sixteen playable characters from the X-Men -- including Bishop and Colossus, as well as the Brotherhood of Mutants -- will be available, including some which can't be divulged quite yet. We did get exclusive word, however, that Sunfire will be included in the game. Each character has their own unique attacks and techniques, just as before.
