Worms 4: Mayhem review:
One of the worst downfalls we found in the PS2 version was the lack of an online multiplayer mode...

Worms 4: Mayhem review:
Having not being able to test out the online play, the game might be even better than this review indicates for some people, but it is definitely worth a purchase for anyone looking for a decent multiplayer title. For the main story, the game may only be worth getting when the price drops a bit.

Worms 4: Mayhem review:
With dandy graphics, hilarious sound, bags of variety, lots to unlock, loads of weapons and a great multiplayer mode, this title is well worth the brass. Put wood in oil, sit on buffit'and have some reet lark! As good as they mak 'em!

Worms 4: Mayhem review:
The weapons are as pleasingly ridiculous as ever - including an inflatable Scouser, a thieving granny and a holy hand grenade - although it doesn't take long for the novelty to wear off.If you're curious, then we suggest you go out and buy Worms 3D, which you can pick up for about a fiver these days. Or failing that then how about a copy of Worms World Party on PSone?

If you are new to the franchise then look no further, fans? This is what Team 17 should have released last year, it’s just a shame it took so long and that the Xbox Live side is so barren.DETAILED GAME INFORMATIONVersion Reviewed: Xbox Gold copyOther Versions: PC, Xbox, PS2Muliplayer: Yes Xbox Price: £29.99 Age: 3+UK Release date - July 29, 2005

Fly your worm around the landscape until he finds a target. Fly down to the enemy and upon collision, the rocket explodes in shower of sparks, blasting any nearby worms into the distance!...and there's plenty more to be revealed.

Despite the continued use of a 3rd dimension, the series still lacks depth.

Worms 4: Mayhem review:
The game feels unfinished, like a budget title, but will still retail for full price which is a shame. I think fans of the originals will be bitterly disappointed, but for a new generation of young’uns looking for a bit of silly fun, this could have been right up their alley, if only it wasn’t so fiddly and unforgiving…
