If you have some extreme mad-on for Navy simulated warfare, Warship Gunner could possibly appeal to you. Otherwise, there’s absolutely nothing fun about this “game”. Most parts are obtained through funding research and development in various areas with money earned from successful missions. (If you need extra money, you can replay prior engagements.) The R&D mode, complete with huge tech trees, is at first a bit confusing and intimidating. But like the ship editor, the methods to its madness soon become clear.
