The main character, Joseph, vowes never to use his Summoning powers ever again, as a demon that he had summoned to protect his village from enemy attackers slaughtered his own village and killed all that he loved. But there is evil amongst the world, and Joseph must ignore his feelings and move on, before he himself is destroyed.
