This action role-playing game follows the story of a young hero who can't remember his past. The hero and his friends become involved in a war over two magical rings of power and must do what they can to save the world from ruin.
Shining Tears review:
I'm sorry to say this but Shining Tears is a game without a soul. It doesn't move me in any way; it just makes me feel a lot of annoyance. The score to the game doesn't deliver either, the graphics are too bland, the story is boring and the characters are all superficial and cliché. - Lania S, Grrlgamer.com
Shining Tears review:
If you are an avid role-playing game connoisseur who is old enough to remember the Sega Genesis, you’ve no doubt heard of Sega’s line of Shining RPGs. Back in the day, the Shining titles were some of the best of their time, and many are held in classical reverence even today. With such high popularity, it is rather perplexing that there hasn’t been a new Shining game on a home console since the late 1990’s. That taken into account, Sega’s Shining Tears for the PlayStation 2 garnered plenty of attention and publicity upon its officially announced development, and now that it is available nationwide, fans can once again joyously reacquaint themselves with the series they’ve cherished for so long -- or can they?
