Shadow Of The Colossus review:
The spiritual successor to Ico is, well, art. Not pseudo art, not a vague attempt at justifying games as legitimate, it simply is art. Don't believe us? Read Gareth's review then.

Those people, of course, are philistines of the highest order. Play Shadow Of The Colossus, and you'll either agree, or want my head on a stick. The choice is yours.

Shadow Of The Colossus review:
As we were about to slay a colossus, we forgot about the near-physical pain it caused us moments ago; we basked in the fact that we've just killed something so impossibly huge. It's a strange experience. As with all games, we got so furious at times we wished death on the developers. Yet Shadow of the Colossus is a game in which we forgot about such things as soon as they were over.

Shadow Of The Colossus review:
Not necessarily because you'll love every second of playing it, but because when you look back on it, when you drag it out for your friends, and when your finger runs across its spine and picks it out of the shelf-stack line-up 18 months from now on a rainy weekend when your girlfriend's at her mother's, it'll be another ICO moment.Right now though, I'd rather hold Yorda's hand again.

t’s difficult to fault Shadow of the Colossus, as the game’s developer has done a magnificent job at combining a range of different elements to form a game that is immersive, cinematic and utterly unforgettable.

Shadow Of The Colossus review:
Be sure you play it, even if you don't like Ico. It may be Ico's spiritual successor but Shadow of the Colossus is very much its own game that won't take you long to play through, but will be remembered for a lifetime.
