It’s the Barry Davies, man in the main stand, commentary rather than the Jonathan Pearce touchline frenzy. This is the game for people who like to discuss ‘catenaccio’ and don’t really mind a little less of the va-va voom. It’s a winner for me; for all that the youth team might think the kit’s a bit old. It’s a marathon not a sprint son.

Bless its little spiked shoes, the Pro Evo series carries on strong. The richer animations and life-like player behaviour, added to the amazing sense of two teams actually playing before your eyes make this the best football sim out there. Having to guess who a misspelled player really is, or which team could possibly be "West London White" doesn't really detract from the enjoyment.
