Manhunt review:
After a few hours of gameplay, the process becomes repetitive. I mean, how many ways are there to suffocate someone with a plastic bag or beat them to death with a baseball bat? And you can't even skip the execution cut scenes. - Didi Cardoso, Grrlgamer.com
Manhunt review:
Not enough game for the buck. While this game has a better storyline, albeit demented, nothing relatively great stands out from Manhunt. It is well done in almost all respects, however I would consider it a good rental as you can take the game in the few days you have it. Manhunt will bring out the psycho in you. By the way, it's just a game.
Manhunt review:
Yes Manhunt is shocking and morally deprived, but Manhunt is also a cracking game and its not often you get all of that in the same package. You'll either love it or loathe it, we certainly loved it - you may be different, but you should all at least try it. Go on, your conscience deserves it.
Manhunt review:
If there’s one thing that can be said for Rockstar Games, it’s that they don’t care what anyone says; they’re going to make any game they want regardless of who it may...
Manhunt review:
However, it does require the player to persevere in order to progress through the story; it is likely that some players will lose interest before reaching the final scenes. If you consider yourself a games enthusiast, and you can stand the gore, you probably owe it to yourself to play this game.
Manhunt review:
On a chilly October morning many years ago, a little video game developer by the name of Rockstar Games released a peculiar game called Grand Theft Auto III. After palpable previous games, GTA III went into a 3D world, and was suddenly heralded as the future of gaming. Its huge roaming city, free roaming gameplay, and excessive violence made it the top game that same year. After a sequel, Rockstar was named as irresponsible for developing such violent and adult videogames. And while they’re blamed for school violence, crimes, and much more, it hasn’t changed their development philosophy at all. It doesn’t seem that they’re going to win any hearts with Manhunt either, an extremely violent stealth based slasher. Manhunt is a smart, interesting, frustrating, and extremely satisfying action game just in time for the holidays.
