Kingdom Hearts II review:
Despite the fact that I missed a part in the Kingdom Hearts story, I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, though it is kind of short – approx 35 hours. I laughed out loud a lot, because there is lots of humor and there are also plenty of touching scenes, to which I sat and sniffled. Even though Disney and Square Enix seem like such an odd pair, this combination really works. And judging by the series' popularity – they've probably managed to win more hearts than they were expecting. If you haven’t gotten into the Kingdom Hearts frenzy yet, I suggest you do so. There is no point in missing out on an adventure such as this. - Lania S., Grrlgamer.com

Kingdom Hearts II review:
The Gummi Ship was downright loathsome in the original game, and while remaining a far cry from truly respectable, at least offers some degree of satisfaction this time around.Kingdom Hearts II is a remarkable journey and another Square Enix masterpiece. Just be forewarned that it has a knack for periodically strangling you with your childhood memories.

It's pretty simple, very linear and slightly lazy in places but there can be no denying that it still manages to earn a place among the most beautiful and exciting adventures of recent years for gamers of all ages. That's universal appeal for you.

Kingdom Hearts II review:
A bold claim, but given the title's wide appeal, featuring numerous characters and scenarios close to the hearts of many, and given how it ties this to simple yet addictive gameplay backed by mostly solid game design, there's no denying Kingdom Hearts II satisfies in a way few games can. -- Chris Faylor

Kingdom Hearts II review:
The Disney characters slide perfectly into the Square visual style. When you're first dropped into the black and white world of the Timeless River and see the redrawn character designs of Donald and Goofy in their retro original style, you'll be amazed by how things have changed since Steamboat Willie.
