The sounds have also done a phenomenal job of complementing the games visuals, from the rumbling of the Bradley and the explosive thunder of grenades to the pops of gunfire and whizzing bullets flying through the air. The action taking place in this fictional Middle Eastern country looks and sounds as if it's been ripped straight from war footage of combat taking place in Iraq.

The original Full Spectrum Warrior definitely stood head and shoulders above others in the military shooter genre, thanks to the way it tested your mental abilities alongside your trigger finger. Ten Hammers looks to be a pretty solid follow-up, with a better meshing of military-squad based action and thinking tactics that involves the likes of flanking and cover fire.

Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers preview:
It will be playable over Xbox Live, PS2 online, and powered by GameSpy on PC. Rather than using the usual Capture the Flag modes, FSW: TH has divided the game into eight levels with each side, from US Coalition Troops to El-Rahman forces, getting its own distinct cutscenes pre and post-match. At times, there are also insurgents vs. insurgents.
