Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
If you want to pick them off then kit out with a sniper. Don't overload the team with snipers though, as balance is the key. Snipers are at a serious disadvantage when fighting in close quarters, so it's not a bad idea for them to find an Assault soldier as an escort. In vehicle-heavy maps, the Engineer is a prized Kit. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
If you’ve got the option, go with the outstanding PC version of Battlefield 2. If you don’t, give this one a rental before paying full price – it might not be your cup of tea.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
The Battlefield series makes a smooth transition to the console, offering new ideas to spice up gameplay. Pity the online play is surprisingly weak.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
Feel free to start a clan, join a clan, and chat with friends via the USB microphone, because it’s all here. In closing, I totally recommend this one. Whether it’s a rental or a purchase, pay Modern Combat a visit. It beckons you! The only problems I faced were annoying glitches and bugs. Even then, it deserves your attention.

The first-ever Battlefield console installment will drop players into the heat of battle on the high tech frontlines, entering a new modern era of combat with more firepower and new expansive environments. Armed with the latest modern weaponry, players can take control of over 30 vehicles, including tanks, helicopters and fast attack vehicles, to engage in major conflicts in some of the largest online battles.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
With a little work to improve the A.I. and some tweaks it could even become a welcome long-term addition to the series. However that winds up working out, the multiplayer more than stands on its own as a great game, and with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, now you can enjoy that from the comfort of your living room.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
Despite those deficiencies, Modern Combat is still probably worth a look, especially if you've never played a Battlefield game (or clone) before.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat review:
Modern Combat doesn't really look, sound, or play like any of the PC Battlefield games, which might be a little disappointing for those looking for more than just another arcade-style shooter.
