24: The Game review: As an adaptation, 24: The Game stands out against the plague of other licensed dreck, but some polish could've made it shine. For series junkies, though, there couldn't be a better time to pick this game up. It'll help you get through the withdrawl symptoms to boot!

24: The Game review: 24 is topical, political, preposterous, dynamic, frustrating and addictive in equal measure. And that’s only six of the 24 adjectives I had written down. It’s true, there’s a lot to be had with this game, but you do wish that they pulled a few more 24 hour working days out of the bag and put it towards the gameplay. A good game, a great adaptation, worthy of your time.

24: The Game review: And therein likes the rub. Any true fan of 24 is going to get 24: The Game regardless of what anyone tells you – even me, and those are the same people who will curse and mutter about all the game’s weaknesses yet continue to play because really, this is the “lost season” of 24, and you can never have too much of a good thing.

24: The Game review: Coverting a trully engaging and action-packed TV show should have been a no-brainer, but sadly so are the AI and controls in the game.

24: The Game review: Sorry, Jack, but while it's a 4.5/5 from a faithfulness point of view, the official game of the series can only muster up a rather more mundane 3/5. Hopefully Jack will let me live. Oh dear. He's just spotted me checking out Kim....

24: The Game review: 24: The Game ultimately wraps up to be a mediocre experience, one that is plagued with countless camera, control and gameplay issues that lower the experience and enjoyment that can be earned.

24: The Game review: On the whole the game is most disappointing – a real waste of a licence and a good story. I suppose in a way it does make you feel like Jack – it can reduce you to tears.

24: The Game review: Hotly anticipated by diehard fans of the popular TV Show 24, 24: The Game from 2K Games and Sony Cambridge has finally arrived on the PS2, and for the most part it delivers the ultimate interactive 24 experience. That said, having both gotten a chance to play the game, Staff Writer Zach Lark and I came away with marginally different concluding impressions of the game, so we thought it would be a good idea to team up and review the game from both of our perspectives:

24: The Game review: A really nice touch is that the screen that appears at the start of every 24 episode is in place in the game at the start of every new hour, with Keifer Sutherland saying "The following takes place between X and Y o'clock." All in all, the game manages to capture the look and feel of the show well.
