Sequel to Namco's groundbreaking PSX combat flight simulator. Ace Combat 2 puts you back in the cockpit as a mercenary pilot out to foil a world-threatening terrorist plot. You'll proceed through 30 missions in which your success will allow you to buy weapon upgrades, parts and other gimmicks just like in the original. AC2 offers sharper graphics and sounds, more planes and options, dual shock support as well as adding a much-needed analog joystick support.
Ace Combat 2 review:
You get to view them up close and different colors. While it's not a game you'll play over & over forever (even though I did), it has enough replay value to make it worth your money. This game is a great example of what a sequel should be. Everything was improved from graphics to story line. And if you don't believe me, go to your rental store and pick the "darn" thing up!
