The Witcher review: Worth a place on your hard drive beside Oblivion?
Worth Playing previews
The Witcher preview: The Witcher is an action RPG, combining features of such games as Dungeon Siege, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Gothic and Neverwinter Nights, incorporating a simple-yet-interesting game system, along with a complex plot and attractive 3D graphics.
Game Informer reviews 80%
The Witcher review: Complaints aside, a much larger portion of your time with this title will be spent enjoying the combat, story, and side tasks than making doomed decisions. The satisfaction of leveling up, expanding your abilities, and unraveling the mystery is enough for The Witcher to pick itself up when it stumbles.
Eurogamer previews
The Witcher preview: Combat is initially impressive, and with the animation already capturing the eye, the longevity of the system will hinge on whether the player will be able to feel the difference in combat as he progresses through the game.Add to: Digg Del.icio.us Spurl Newsvine Furl Reddit Fark Y!Game InformationView Screenshots

Got-Next previews
The Witcher preview: Right now, we're worried about how combat will feel once it's our hands guiding Geralt's sword, but we're also smiling at the thought that CDProjekt's success depends largely on the success of the English version of the game. The translators have become the source of the translation. We're cautiously optimistic that 2006 will be remembered as the year PC role-playing games took back their crown.
Deeko.com previews
The Witcher preview: Everyone of us who witnessed this game firsthand is now looking forward to the final build. Apparently last year at E3, the folks at CD Projekt Red had only a small demo available and lost out to a little title known as Oblivion. Unfortunately tucked away in Kentia Hall, many people may have missed this, which is really quite sad. This game deserves your attention.
