Too many repetitive missions and clunky AI limit the overallexperience for the player though. Scrapland’s concept is unique enoughand there are enough quirks in the game to keep most players occupied. This isn’ta bad game by any means. In fact, anyone who loves the gameplay of the GrandTheft Auto series should definitely look into a purchase.

You had the options of competing over a local area network and over the internet. The multiplayer may well end up what pushes this title past “good” and into “great.”Scrapland is set for an early 2005 European release. If a few graphical, sound, and game play issues are dealt with, Mercury Steam stands the chance of having a sleeper-hit on their hands.

Scrapland review:
American McGee is not usually one to follow trends when making games, no matter what game comes out of his care, it seems to always produce a unique experience for the gamer. Scrapland is the latest potential filled McGee title to hit the shelves and perhaps one of his more mainstream concepts to date - an easy to follow, enjoyable yet challenging experience involving robots in a GTA3 like world - atleast, that's the theory.
