R.O.S.E. Online review:
R.O.S.E. is just another MMORPG amongst many, trying to bring us a different world and original surroundings. - Didi Cardoso, Grrlgamer.com
R.O.S.E. Online review:
At this point in time, it’s safe to say that the MMORPG genre is definitely at an oversaturation point. New games are announced on what seems like a monthly basis, most promising the latest in visual tricks and gameplay trappings guaranteed to grab the eyes, ears and wallets of those folks looking for a fantasy world they can call their own. Each MMO game demands a definite time and effort commitment on the part of players who seek to leave reality for hours at a stretch, but the true test of a solid online game is what happens after the initial romance (and free trial time) grows cool. One of the more recent additions to the genre, R.O.S.E. Online, manages to hold up as a solid bit of MMO goodness geared toward younger players while also catering to those looking for a massive fantasy world to adventure with alone or with friends and family. The game has a decidedly cuter visual style than darker-themed MMOs, yet the gorgeous 3D visuals, customizable characters and vehicles along with a fairly large amount of quests to undertake are more than enough to recommend this as your new fix.

Rose Online is an MMORPG sugar rush, contends Eoghan - sweet while it lasts, but too much of this could easily be sickening. Is it just too cute? That depends on the player, but there's an interesting game in here.
