Psychonauts can be funny, quirky, and fun. It does not, however, come far enough away from its console roots to be considered a good PC game. Plus, the subject matter and the characters in the game seem to be aimed much lower than its Teen rating.(reviewed using a Pentium 4m, with 1GB of RAM 600MHz, 256MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9600, 2-Channel sound).

This game would be a good crossover game that fans of classic adventure games could have fun with -- even though it's a bit twitchy and action-oriented, it's fairly forgiving, until later in the final levels.
