Pac-Man World 3 review:
Pac-Man World 3 is a platformer, characterized most notably by its fusion of classic Pac-Man moments and generic platforming gameplay.
Pac-Man World 3 review:
Namco truly is going all out in its celebration of Pac-Man’s 25th Anniversary this year, and who can blame them. Ever since taking the gaming world by storm way back in 1980, Pac-Man has easily become one of the top five most recognizable and memorable gaming mascots ever, and even to this day his presence is felt in the industry as much as ever. Though nothing will ever beat the pure simplicity and addictive quality of the original Pac-Man arcade game, Namco’s attempts to keep the little yellow guy current in today’s era of rapidly improving console technology have resulted in plenty of great titles that carry on the Pac-Man name with pride and nostalgia. The most recent example of this is Pac-Man World 3, the latest update to Namco’s 3D Pac-Man series, which brings a quality dose of traditional platforming staples to the PS2, GameCube and Xbox (also upcoming for the DS and PSP) with the requisite Pac-Man twist and hours of Pac-Dot chomping, ghost-gobbling fun.
