Jack The Ripper review:
Pros: The story attempting to be told is really not a bad one; graphics are fairly nice; some nice moments of atmosphere and suspense (which inevitably are undermined by logic holes). Cons: Complete linearity strips the game of all replay value; extremely uninteractive environment leads to a very cold game; terrible logic gaps in the event triggers and sequences. And the ending is enough to make you renounce gaming forever. Bottom-line: Generally a frustrating and unrewarding game, with the ultimate anti-payoff. I can't even sincerely recommend it to even the most ardent Ripper historian.
