GUN review:
We don't see enough westerns on the PC. Now that Gun has arrived, how does it stack up?

GUN review:
Bullets, bows and arrows: these were what usually started and ended a confrontation in the old west. Well, at least that’s what I’ve found through my education from the book of pop culture. To be quite honest, it’s been a long time since I’ve played an old west themed game (think back to Sunset Riders for the Super Nintendo). That’s why it surprised me a little to find that Activision and Neversoft (known for their Tony Hawk titles) were again teaming up to head into a new direction with GUN, an 1800’s western title that is quite the deviation from the games these two companies usually produce. Although it may sound a bit odd with all of the futuristic and World War II action titles being released these days, GUN provides an excellent mix of grit and quality play that makes you wonder why more companies haven’t ventured into this genre.

GUN review:
The most important question to ask of any game is, was it fun? And GUN answers with a resounding yes. If you're into action game and especially if you like the wild west setting, you owe it to yourself to give this game a shot. Giddyup!

GUN review:
Set in the untamed West of the late 1800s, GUN is a free-roaming action-adventure game that takes players to a world without laws where greed, lust and murder are rampant. As Colton White, a vengeful gunslinger, players must straddle the line between good and evil as they showdown against corrupt lawmen, a murderous preacher, renegade army psychopaths, merciless outlaws and unforgiving Native Americans, while waging war on horseback, collecting bounties, and commandeering trains.

GUN review:
See the Sheriff over there? Talk to him to get deputized and administer some hard, frontier justice to local lawbreakers. There are even missions where you can round up cattle or mosey over to the saloon and try a few rounds of poker. So yeah, it's a little like Grand Theft Auto in that way, but with more cows.

GUN review:
Gun sets you loose in the Wild West, where you can shoot your way through a very brief but entertaining storyline and undertake some decent side missions while you're at it.
