FIFA 06 review:
The world has been privy to the FIFA series of soccer titles for the past 15 years. In that time we’ve seen many highs and lows for the series, but it’s never quite been able to overcome Konami’s world-renown soccer title Winning Eleven. That’s not to say that EA’s interpretation of soccer is awful, actually both titles are usually solid. Though always attempting to up the ante on their long time rival, this year’s FIFA actually seems more of a step back when compared to the 2005 iteration.

FIFA 06 does deserve a purchase but it simply doesn’t offer up anywhere near enough improvements for owners of FIFA 2005 to part with cash this year. That being said, if this is your first purchase, or you have stayed away for a few years this one certainly makes a good refresher course.
