With time, the community will most likely grow and I see the tournament aspect of the game becoming a very large draw for players.Basically, if you’re into speed and blowing a lot of stuff up, you’ll enjoy this game. It also has enough ambiance and an interesting enough story to hold your interest for a while.

Oh, there are still the usual dice rolls going on underneath (players will sometimes miss even though the enemy is within their tactical arc), but fighting in Auto Assault is leagues more enjoyable than the sterile interface management that typifies the average MMO.

Auto Assault combines the vehicular glee of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors with the ultraviolence of Rambo or Carmeggedon. What lets it down is ugliness, its hunger for power (and the corresponding technical issues), and the knowledge that this would be much better and more coherent as a purely single-player game.

Describing the classes in those general roles, however, doesn't mean that all the classes play identically. Not only does each race get its own set of special powers, players can actually choose from their own class's powers or take some from other classes as they level up, making every player a unique fighter, regardless of the class they choose at the beginning of the game.
