Journey on every existing means of transport, making you to use all inventiveness ingenuity, full of discoveries of unseen and unheard beauties. New gentleman, new bet, but it is up to you to choose itinerary. Would you do it in 80 days? Maybe you would rather make a stop at Bahamas, and give up the race for good?

80 Days review:
Patches could help, but that's still no excuse, because as it stands, out of the box it is not a very enjoyable game due to these issues, and even if they were all fixed, you're still left with a game that feels hollow in its storyline. If you see 80 Days in a bargain bin somewhere for cheap it might offer some value, otherwise though I'd give it a miss.

You're not going to be wowed by the game's story, and you probably won't laugh at its attempts to be funny, but you might at least have a fun experience. There are certainly better games on the market competing for your valuable game-time, however, so unless you've played out all the more worthy games, you might just give this one a miss.

Based on but not necessarily retelling Jules Verne’s classic adventure novel Around the World in Eighty Days, Frogwares’ and Tri Synergy’s 80 Days is a fully 3D adventure game for the PC that attempts to breath new life into one of the longest running videogame genres around, and for the most part it does a fine job. Unfortunately, the grand adventure 80 Days should’ve been is marred by a few unsightly technical mishaps and some truly goofy dialogue that drop the game from what could’ve been one of the better true adventure titles in recent memory to a game only fans of the genre will find any redeeming value in.

A gorgeous game that can be adapted to any play style, from leisurely stroll to nerve wracking, fast paced, adventure game.
Cons:
Technical glitches and a horrible save game system mar what would otherwise have been a truly excellent game.
Bottom-line:
If you've got the machine to run it, and the patience to endure some of its quirks, then this is definitely a game to check out.
