In the sequel to WWE Day of Reckoning, you must fight your way back to the top of the wrestling ladder. WWE Day of Reckoning 2 features new legendary fighters, a new story mode, and more.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
Without offering commentary of any kind, and without actual human speech during the story mode, this is still disappointing. In addition, the multitude of loading screens doesn’t do it any favours. Undeniably, the PS2 WWE effort is much better than this game again this year, but THQ definitely seem to be going in the right direction, which is all that matters in the long run jambaronies.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
For me, the problems prevent me from replicating some of my favorite matches, but don’t get in the way of having a good time. I’d say that if you’re skeptical about the game, rent it. For everyone else, wait for it to hit $30 or less, and then give it a shot. Author: Jeremy Peeples   aka: Jeremy
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
Since exploding in popularity in the mid to late 90’s as one of the highest rated television programs at the time, wrestling has had multiple game translations across many systems. To be honest, even I was bitten by the wrestling bug in the late 90’s. The interesting thing is that what got me into wrestling was not the television programs, but a little game for the Nintendo 64 called WCW vs. NWO: World Tour made by THQ. I had so much fun playing this game that I became curious to find out what the back stories of my favorite characters were. My focus switched from WCW to WWF (now WWE) wrestling about the same time that THQ switched its characters to the same source with another great title, WWF WrestleMania 2000. Once I got to college though, my interest in wrestling faded as it was replaced by an internship and schoolwork. However, THQ has continued to pump out the quality wrestling titles, including their latest release WWE: Day of Reckoning 2.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
Overall Day of Reckoning 2 is a good solid wrestling affair. The game could have used some additional features, but what's there is fun. Yuke's has done a decent job of improving the GameCube franchise, but it is still playing catch-up with the SmackDown series. For anyone that owns a GameCube and loves WWE this purchase is a no-brainer.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
The play feels smooth, and the game looks great. More options still would’ve been welcome, and even though quality voice work is hard to find, no voice-overs at all is still a sorely-missed touch. If all the match types worked all the time, this would be the grappler to have. But even with its flaws, the excellence of what’s done right makes up for them. Fans of the WWE have their game.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
If I had to choose, right now, I’d probably consider Wrestlemania 21 the best, but that maybe because of the differences in the consoles. Neither of them are what I’d consider truly fun games, but if you have to have a wrestling game stick with Wrestlemania 21. If you only own a Game Cube, then this is the wrestling game for you! -- Nik Dunn
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
All the modes from Day of Reckoning return, including Battle Royal, Tag Team, Hardcore, TLC, Bra & Panties, Steel Cage, and Hell in A Cell. Most of the wrestlers are back, though the total number has jumped to 45 including more unlockable Legends like old school Hulk Hogan and The Rock.
WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 review:
Wrestling fans on the Cube need not wait any longer, as this sequel remedies much of its predecessor's flaws, while adding some neat features for a solid wrestler.
