This is pure craftsmanship at its finest and few GCN games or any game, for that matter, of this generation, can match the pure adrenaline that this title brings to the table. Viewtiful Joe is a one-of-a-kind game and it should be treasured by those fortunate enough to come across its path.

I do realize that Viewtiful Joe is not for everyone, Dots just didn't get into VJ at all, so if you don't like games with learning curves steer clear of VJ. Even if you consider yourself a hardcore platform gamer you may want to give this one a rent before you lay down the money. I do have to say that this one really snuck up on me and I am glad I stuck with it.

It's this union that makes Viewtiful Joe near perfect in its creation and I honestly couldn't find any real faults within it. If you're in the market for an action platformer, Viewtiful Joe is easily the game for you and easily redeems Capcom's good name. All things said and done, life is, indeed, viewtiful!

Even if you have to abandon the WaveBird for an hour or so here and there to recharge your patience, you'll still find yourself coming back for more. Viewtiful Joe is just one of those games, and we truly hope it holds up for a long time to come.

All we can do is just play it, have a great time and hope Capcom will continue to make games like this. Importing it is a safe bet, you’ll be able to understand most of what’s going on and read about the rest on the internet. If you can’t wait for the US or PAL release there’s no problem with importing it, it works fine with a freeloader.©
