As already mentioned, six Game Gear games are missing, and we're sure we aren't the only ones who would like to play the Saturn version of Sonic 3D, Knuckles: Chaotic - the only game worth owning a 32X for - and the little known isometric Sonic Arcade.

As you play through the collection, you’ll unlock some rather pointless artwork in the museum. Artwork that is earned for completing certain games isn’t really worth the work, but then again, it’s all about the games.

If you're dying for another 2D Sonic game, it might be for you too. But if you genuinely want a collection, perhaps a MEGA collection, of several 2D Sonic games, and you can't really imagine spending an evening using your WaveBird as a sort of prosthetic syringe to draw the blue blood out of all the minced royalty, go for Sonic Mega Collection instead. It's much better.

As for the rest of us, if you’re looking for some nostalgia, I won’t stop you, but be careful. The only game now that needs to be brought up is the criminally underrated Knuckles Chaotix, which was released for the 32X during its very short run. You think Sonic Team will put eight titles together just for that? Nah, I didn’t think so. I guess it belongs in the vault.
