 Resident Evil review:
For me, it's a shockingly scary game which really keeps your heart pounding, besmirched by only a degree of old-hattedness. Have no fear though, Resi fans, it's still definitive.

Resident Evil review:
Not only that, but it is scary. It is almost like playing a horror movie. The only thing that suffers is the controls, the voice acting and a little bit on the replay value. There are things to unlock, but it requires playing the game over, and it is basically always the same. All in all, this is a great game, and should be at least rented for all Gamecube owners. You won’t be disappointed.©

If you like your games filled with non-stop action then this might not be the game for you. If you like a good creepy story, tension and puzzles then you should give this game a look.All in all I think this games deserves to be at least rented by every Gamecube owner, you’ll never know what you’re missing unless you give it a try. Go on and “Enter the Survival Horror”©

Resident Evil review:
Oh well, there’s always Resident Evil 0 and 4. Unless you just can’t get over the aging control scheme, or you prefer more action-oriented games, I strongly suggest that you pick up Resident Evil immediately. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Resident Evil review:
Recall that I've never liked the series, and the game's achievements suddenly seem even more impressive. It's true. I'm a convert.Resident Evil for Gamecube will delight the devotees. If you've stayed away from the horror so far, now would be an excellent time to venture into the mansion. An incredibly impressive re-imagining of a gaming classic.

Resident Evil review:
Graphics are great, showing just how powerful the Gamecube is. Sound is awesome; if you have a good sound system you will really enjoy it. If you are a fan of the survival horror genre, this is a must have, but I recommend everyone to at least give this game a rent, you should enjoy it.
